Heavenly Father,
As we reflect on Genesis 1:28, where You blessed the first humans with the words, "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it," we recognize the profound charge You have given us. You have entrusted us with the care of Your creation and called us to stewardship over all living things.
Lord, we are grateful for this blessing and the responsibility it entails. Help us to fulfill this mandate wisely and compassionately. May we manage the resources of the earth not only for our benefit but for the welfare of all Your creatures and for future generations.
Guide us in our efforts to be fruitful and to contribute positively to our communities and our world. Teach us to balance our growth and our consumption with the needs of the environment and the other creatures who share this planet with us.
Grant us the wisdom to use our dominion to protect, to nurture, and to enhance the natural world. May our actions reflect a deep respect for life and a commitment to sustaining the bounty and beauty of the earth.
We ask for Your continued guidance and blessing as we strive to live in accordance with Your will, remembering always that we are caretakers of Your creation.
In the name of Jesus, who came to serve and not to be served, and who taught us the true meaning of stewardship, we pray.
Amen.
