Prayer for Guidance and Wisdom

Heavenly Father,

We are humbled and inspired as we read Genesis 1:16, reflecting on Your creation of the two great lights—the sun to govern the day and the moon to govern the night, along with the multitude of stars that fill the night sky. Each of these celestial bodies, crafted by Your hand, serves a unique purpose and provides guidance and beauty to our world.

Lord, as You have placed these lights in the heavens to guide us through each day and night, we ask that You also illuminate our spiritual journey. May the light of Your wisdom guide our decisions, and the light of Your love direct our actions.

Help us to be mindful of the roles we play in the lives of others, as lights reflecting Your glory. May we shine brightly in dark places, offering hope, comfort, and guidance to those who are lost or struggling.

We are grateful, Father, for the natural order and rhythms You have established, reminding us of Your foresight and care. May we always look to You as our ultimate source of light and truth, drawing closer to You with each passing day.

In the name of Jesus, who is the Light of the World, we offer our prayers and thanks.
