Day 25
Longsuffering
Exodus 34:6 (KJV): "And the Lord passed by before him and proclaimed, The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth."
Abba Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before You in awe of Your majesty,
echoing the proclamation made in Exodus 34:6, "And the Lord passed by
before him and proclaimed, The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious,
longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth."
Lord,
we stand in the presence of Your mercy and grace, overwhelmed by Your abundant
goodness and truth. You are the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger
and rich in steadfast love. In Your longsuffering, You extend grace beyond
measure, giving us time to turn to You and experience the depth of Your love.
We
praise You for Your mercy that forgives our transgressions, Your grace that
lifts us from the depths of sin, and Your patience that bears with us in our
weaknesses. Your goodness and truth surround us, providing a firm foundation
for our lives.
As
we bask in Your mercy, may we extend the same to others. Teach us to be
channels of Your grace, demonstrating Your longsuffering and abundant love to
those around us.
We
offer this prayer in adoration of Your merciful and gracious nature. In the
name of Jesus, our Savior, we pray. Amen.
