Prayer - Manger Throne

Prayer

Abba Father, in the name of Jesus

In the presence of Your majesty, my heart swells with an overwhelming  gratitude, a cascade of emotion stirred by the profound love and deliberate choices You've made for me. The very idea that You, in all Your resplendent glory, could have unveiled Your might in a grand display of fire and splendor, and yet, You chose the quiet path of meekness, leaves me utterly humbled.

Oh, Sovereign King, whose throne is a manger, my soul bursts forth in powerful thanksgiving. You deliberately chose the unassuming backdrop of Bethlehem, cradling Your divinity in the warmth of common humanity. Your story, a saga of redemption, is an indescribable gift, a treasure beyond measure.

As I traverse the sacred journey from the vast expanse of heaven to the humble cradle and onward to the victorious cross, my spirit resonates with emotion. Heaven and nature, in harmonious unity, echo praises for our King. The grave, unable to contain Your glory, witnessed Your triumphant emergence, and I joyfully proclaim, "This is my King!"

All hail the King, who, in the quiet strength that resonates with  authority, conquered the mightiest challenges. Glory be to You alone, my Savior and Redeemer. My life, my praises, the entirety of my being, I lay before Jesus, the King on a manger throne.

May the intense love and grace that define my personal journey of faith be a blazing light, guiding me ever closer to You. With a heart ablaze in profound gratitude, I declare the awe-inspiring glory of my King to every corner of my world.

In Jesus name and with a heart aflame, I pray. Amen.

Manger Throne Lyrics

You could have stepped into creationWith fire for all to seeBrought every tribe and nation to their kneesArriving with the host of heavenIn royal robe and crownThe rulers of the earth all bowing down
But You chose meekness over majestyWrapped Your power in humanity
Glory be to You aloneKing who reigns from a manger throneMy life, my praise, everything I ownTo Jesus the King on a manger throne
You could have marched in all Your gloryInto the heart of RomeShowed them splendor like they'd never knownBut You wrote a better storyIn humble BethlehemCreator in the arms of common men
You will die for our redemptionAnd You'll rise so we can live
Glory be to You aloneKing who reigns from a manger throneMy life, my praise, everything I ownTo Jesus the King on a manger throne
From heaven to the cradleFrom cradle to the crossLet heaven and nature singThis is our KingBut the grave couldn't hold HimOur God has overcomeLet Heaven and nature singThis is our King
From heaven to the cradleFrom cradle to the crossLet heaven and nature singThis is our KingBut the grave couldn't hold HimOur God has overcomeLet Heaven and nature singThis is our King
All hail the KingAll hail the KingAll hail the King
Glory be to You aloneKing who reigns from a manger throneMy life, my praise, everything I ownTo Jesus the King on a manger throneMy life, my praise, everything I ownTo Jesus the King on a manger throneTo Jesus the King on a manger throne
