Scripture to Begin Your Morning

“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”
Lamentations 3:22–23

“But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us… made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved.”
Ephesians 2:4–5

Devotional Thought

Every new day is a fresh testimony of God’s amazing grace.
The breath in your lungs, the rising sun, the promise of His presence—
none of it earned, all of it given freely.
That’s grace.

Before you move into the tasks of your day, pause.
Let your heart remember:
You were saved by grace, kept by grace, and you stand today because of His unfailing love.
No matter what you face, you are not facing it alone.
You are loved. You are held. You are covered.

Devotional Prayer: Amazing Grace, Unfailing Love, and Gratitude

Father God,
This morning I come before You with a heart full of gratitude.
Thank You for the gift of a new day—one more chance to walk in Your purpose,
to grow in Your love, and to shine Your light.

Thank You for amazing grace.
The grace that reached me when I was far off.
The grace that forgives, that restores, that renews.
Grace that whispers, “You are Mine,” even when I feel unworthy.
Grace that lifts me from ashes and clothes me with beauty.

Thank You for Your love—unshakable, unending, unmatched.
You loved me before I ever knew You.
You love me still, even when I stumble.
Your love is my anchor and my song.

I offer You this day.
Let my actions speak of Your mercy.
Let my words reflect Your kindness.
Let my thoughts be fixed on things above.
May I live in a constant awareness that every good gift
comes from You.

Lord, help me not to take Your grace for granted.
Let gratitude shape my attitude,
and worship be the rhythm of my heart.
Whether in sunshine or shadow, may I never cease to say:
“Thank You, Lord, for loving me.”

And so I walk into this day,
not in fear, but in faith.
Not in striving, but in resting—
in the sufficiency of Your amazing grace.

In Jesus’ beautiful name,
Amen.

Prayer for Amazing Grace, Love, and Gratitude

Gracious Father,

My heart is full as I come before You—
humbled, overwhelmed, and deeply thankful.
For Your amazing grace has found me,
rescued me, and carried me when I could not stand.

How can I ever comprehend the depth of Your mercy?
You saw me in my brokenness,
and You loved me still.
You reached into my darkness with the light of Your truth.
You called me by name and made me Your own.

Amazing grace—how sweet the sound!
That saved a soul like mine.
I was lost, wandering in my own way,
and You came running with arms open wide.

Thank You, Jesus, for the cross.
For every drop of blood that spoke forgiveness over me.
Thank You for enduring what I could not bear,
for defeating what I could never conquer.
Thank You for the empty grave—
the proof that Your love is stronger than death,
and Your grace more powerful than sin.

You have clothed me in righteousness.
You have given me new life.
You have seated me in heavenly places with Christ Jesus.
And even now, You walk with me—patiently, faithfully, lovingly.

Lord, I could never repay You,
but I offer You my life in gratitude.
Let every breath I take be a testimony of thankfulness.
Let every word I speak honor Your mercy.
Let my heart forever sing—
"To Him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by His blood… to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever!" (Revelation 1:5–6)

Thank You for loving me when I was unlovable.
Thank You for never letting go.
Thank You for Your grace—still amazing,
still saving, still working in me today.

Forever I will praise You,
forever I will thank You,
and forever I will love You.

In the name of Jesus,
Amen.

A Heartfelt Prayer of Praise to the Lord

O Lord, my God, how excellent is Your name in all the earth!

With all that I am, I lift You high.
My heart sings, my soul rejoices, my lips overflow with praise.

You are beautiful beyond description,
majestic in holiness, awesome in glory,
working wonders among the children of men.
Who is like You, O Lord?
Who can compare to Your faithfulness,
to Your mercy that never runs dry,
to Your grace that chases me down,
even when I wander?

You are the One who formed the stars
and still takes time to hear my prayers.
You ride upon the wings of the wind (Psalm 104:3),
and yet You stoop to comfort the brokenhearted.
You are the Alpha and the Omega,
the Beginning and the End.
You are my Refuge, my Rock, my Redeemer, and my Song.

I praise You because You are good—
Your love endures forever.
I praise You because You are just—
Your judgments are right and true.
I praise You because You are holy—
perfect in all Your ways, set apart in splendor and light.

When I think of all You’ve done—
how You saved me, forgave me, called me, and filled me—
how can I stay silent?
Let everything that is within me bless Your holy name.

Thank You for the cross—where mercy and justice kissed.
Thank You for the empty tomb—where victory roared.
Thank You for the Holy Spirit—my Comforter, my Fire, my Guide.
Thank You for Your Word—living, active, sharper than any sword.
Thank You for Your presence—closer than my next breath.

Let my life be a continual song of worship.
Let my days echo with hallelujahs.
Let my hands be lifted, my knees bowed,
and my heart surrendered in awe.

For You are worthy.
You are worthy.
You are worthy.

Now and forever, I praise You—
my King, my Savior, my everything.

In Jesus, Almighty name, Amen.

The Lord’s Prayer – A Full Devotional Prayer

Our Father in Heaven,
Abba, my Father—so close, yet so holy.
You are enthroned in majesty above the heavens,
but You draw near to me with lovingkindness.
You are my Creator, my Sustainer, my Redeemer, and my Friend.
Thank You for calling me Your child.
Thank You that I can run to You without fear—
secure in the embrace of Your perfect love.

Hallowed be Your name.
I exalt Your name, Lord—holy and set apart.
Your name is righteous, Your name is mighty, Your name is love.
Let Your name be honored in my heart,
in my home, in the Church, and in every nation.
Let my life reflect the holiness of Your name.
I bow before You in reverence and awe—
for You are the Holy One, and there is none like You.

Your Kingdom come.
Come and reign, O King of glory.
Let Your rule break into my life,
my decisions, my relationships, my dreams.
Let justice rise, let righteousness flow.
Let every counterfeit kingdom fall at Your feet.
Advance Your Gospel, awaken hearts, and prepare the way.
Your Kingdom is everlasting—
and I long to see it come in power and fullness.

Your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Not my will, but Yours, Lord.
Align my heart with Heaven’s desires.
Let me walk in obedience, even when it’s costly.
You know what is best—Your will is good, pleasing, and perfect.
So I lay down my plans and embrace Your purpose.
Refine me, direct me, and use me for Your glory.
Let Your will be done—in me, around me, and through me.

Give us this day our daily bread.
You are Jehovah Jireh, my Provider.
I trust You today for what I need—
physically, emotionally, spiritually.
Feed me with Your Word.
Satisfy me with Your presence.
And help me to be content in what You provide.
Let me also be generous with others,
remembering that every blessing comes from Your hand.

Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Lord, I bring my failures before You.
Have mercy on me, and cleanse me from all unrighteousness.
Thank You for the blood of Jesus that makes me whole.
Help me to walk in forgiveness—
to release those who’ve hurt me,
to let go of bitterness,
to love as You have loved me.
Make my heart soft, my spirit humble, and my hands open.

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Guard me, Lord, from every snare of the enemy.
Strengthen me in the time of testing.
Let me walk in the Spirit and not gratify the flesh.
Help me resist the lies of darkness
and cling to the truth of Your Word.
You are my Deliverer, my Defender, my Refuge.
Keep me under the shadow of Your wings,
and lead me in the way everlasting.

For Yours is the Kingdom,
and the power,
and the glory
forever and ever. Amen.

This is all about You, God.
You reign forever.
Your power knows no limit.
Your glory fills the heavens.
I give You all the praise,
all the honor, and all my heart.
Let my life declare it:
Yours is the Kingdom.
Yours is the power.
Yours is the glory.
Forever and ever.

Amen.

Prayer for Yours Is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory Forever

For Yours is the Kingdom,
and the power,
and the glory,
forever and ever. Amen.

Lord, all authority belongs to You.
Yours is the Kingdom—unshakable, unending, and supreme.
You reign above all rulers and powers,
in Heaven and on earth.
No one can overthrow Your rule,
and no one can compare with Your majesty.

Yours is the power—limitless, mighty, and holy.
You spoke the world into being with a word.
You uphold all things by the word of Your power (Hebrews 1:3).
You heal, You save, You deliver.
There is nothing too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:27).
You are the Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle (Psalm 24:8).
I rest in Your strength and take courage in Your might.

Yours is the glory—radiant, pure, and eternal.
The heavens declare it. The angels proclaim it.
And I join them now, saying:
“Blessing and honor and glory and power
be to Him who sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb, forever and ever!”
(Revelation 5:13)

Let all glory rise to You from my life.
Let every victory point to You.
Let my story be a testament to Your grace.
Let my worship never fade,
for You are worthy—yesterday, today, and forever.

This is Your Kingdom.
This is Your power.
This is Your glory.
And to You belongs all praise—forever and ever.

In Jesus Almighty name, Amen.

Prayer for Lead Us Not Into Temptation, But Deliver Us From Evil

Heavenly Father,
Lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

You are my Shepherd who leads me in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3).
So I pray, Lord—guide my steps today.
Lead me away from anything that would entice my flesh,
lure me into sin, or draw me away from Your heart.

I know that temptation is real,
but You are faithful, and You will not let me be tempted beyond what I can bear.
With every temptation, You promise to provide a way of escape,
so that I can endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13).
Help me to see the escape route.
Help me to run like Joseph ran—
away from sin, into the safety of Your presence (Genesis 39:12).

Strengthen me, Lord, in the inner man.
Let me put on the full armor of God,
so that I can stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).
Guard my eyes, my ears, my thoughts, and my desires.
Let me not be led by the flesh, but by the Spirit (Galatians 5:16).

And deliver me, O God, from the evil one.
Rescue me from every trap, every lie, every dark force that wars against my soul.
You are my refuge and my fortress,
my God in whom I trust (Psalm 91:2).
You promise that no weapon formed against me shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17),
and that You will guard me from the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:3).

Jesus, You prayed for us—not that we would be taken out of the world,
but that we would be kept from the evil one (John 17:15).
So I stand on that prayer, and I rest in Your protection.
Cover me with the blood of the Lamb.
Surround me with Your angels.
Let Your truth be my shield and buckler.

May I walk in purity.
May I stand in victory.
And may I live each moment under the authority of Your kingdom,
empowered by the Spirit,
and hidden in Christ.

In Jesus’ mighty name,

Amen.

Prayer for Forgive Us Our Debts as We Forgive Our Debtors

Merciful Father,
Forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.

Lord, I come to You in humility,
knowing that I have sinned and fallen short of Your glory (Romans 3:23).
But I also come boldly,
knowing that through Jesus I have access to Your throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).

I confess my sins before You—
those known and unknown,
sins of action and of heart,
of words spoken and thoughts entertained.
I have missed the mark. I have wandered from Your way.
But You are faithful and just to forgive me
and to cleanse me from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Wash me in the blood of Jesus.
Pardon my debts, O Lord—not because I deserve it,
but because of Your mercy and the finished work of the cross.
As far as the east is from the west,
so far remove my transgressions from me (Psalm 103:12).
Create in me a clean heart, O God,
and renew a right spirit within me (Psalm 51:10).

And now, Lord, help me to forgive those who have wronged me.
Just as You have extended grace,
let me be a channel of grace.
Heal any bitterness in my heart.
Release me from the burden of unforgiveness.
I choose to let go of resentment.
I choose to bless those who hurt me,
to pray for those who persecute me (Matthew 5:44),
and to forgive, not seven times, but seventy times seven (Matthew 18:21–22).

May I never forget the parable of the unmerciful servant—
the one who was forgiven much, but would not forgive little (Matthew 18:23–35).
Lord, let me not be that man.
Let me forgive, because I have been forgiven.

Forgiveness is not always easy, Lord,
but by Your Spirit, it is possible.
Soften my heart,
stretch my grace,
and let mercy triumph over judgment (James 2:13).

I receive Your forgiveness with gratitude,
and I extend forgiveness with obedience.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.
