Day 16

Truth

John 14:6 (KJV): "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me."

Abba Father, in the name of Jesus, in awe of Your revealed truth, we approach Your throne, guided by the words of John 14:6, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me."

Lord Jesus, You are the way, the truth, and the life. In a world seeking direction, You illuminate the path that leads to the Father. We thank You for being our guide, the embodiment of truth, and the source of eternal life.

As we journey through life, help us to walk in Your way, embracing Your truth, and clinging to the life You freely offer. May Your teachings resonate in our hearts, shaping our character and influencing our choices.

Jesus, we acknowledge that it is through You alone that we come to the Father. We surrender our lives to Your guidance, confident that in following You, we find the way to eternal life. In Jesus precious name, we pray. Amen.

Prayer for a Thankful Heart

Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a heart longing to overflow with thankfulness. In every season, in joy and in trials, help me to see the abundant blessings You shower upon me. Your Word instructs us to "give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus" (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Grant me the grace to embrace this divine wisdom.

Open my eyes to the everyday miracles that often go unnoticed—the beauty of creation, the joy of human connection, the peace of Your presence. Let me not take these gifts for granted but respond with constant gratitude.

Cultivate in me a heart that is quick to thank You, not only for the blessings I can easily see but also for the hidden blessings that come wrapped in challenges and difficulties. Teach me to appreciate the refining work You do in my heart through less comfortable circumstances, trusting that You are working all things together for my good (Romans 8:28).

Help me to express my gratitude to others as well, to acknowledge their kindness and to cherish their role in my life. Let my words and actions reflect a spirit of generosity born out of my thankfulness to You.

In moments when I feel overwhelmed or discontent, remind me of the many reasons I have to be thankful. Renew my perspective and fill me with joy that comes from a grateful heart. May this joy be a testament to Your enduring love and faithfulness.

Thank you, Lord, for Your infinite goodness and unending blessings. I pray that my life would be a continual expression of thankfulness, bringing glory to Your name.

In the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.

Psalm 91 - prayer

Heavenly Father,

We come to You with hearts full of gratitude and reverence, drawing near to Your presence, our refuge and fortress. You are our God, in whom we trust implicitly.

Lord, we thank You for the promises of protection and peace as written in Psalm 91. You deliver us from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. Your faithfulness is our shield and rampart. Under Your wings, we find refuge; Your faithfulness is our shield and armor.

We ask, O God, that You would keep us in all our ways. Let Your angels guard us in their hands, that we may not stumble or fall. In times of trouble, remind us that we can call upon You, and You will answer. You will be with us in distress; You will deliver us and honor us.

With long life, You will satisfy us and show us Your salvation. May we dwell in the shelter of the Most High and rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Teach us to continually say of You, “You are my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

Protect our minds from fear and our hearts from dismay. Help us to live under the assurance of Your protection and love, confident that no harm or disaster can befall us without Your knowledge.

May we always remain in the secret place of the Most High, abiding under the shadow of the Almighty, where we are safe and secure. We praise You for Your loving-kindness and for the peace that comes from knowing You are always near.

In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.

Day 13 - Compassion - Psalm 103:13

Day 13

Compassion

Psalm 103:13 (KJV): "Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him."

Abba Father, in the name of Jesus, as we bow before You, our hearts are stirred by the tender words of Psalm 103:13, "Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him."

Lord, Your compassion knows no bounds. Like a loving father who pities his children, You extend Your mercy and understanding to those who fear and reverence You. Your heart is moved with compassion toward us, and we find solace in Your loving gaze.

We thank You for Your boundless pity, which comforts and sustains us in moments of weakness. Your understanding surpasses our comprehension, and Your compassion is a balm for our wounded souls. May we continually be aware of Your unfailing love and tender care.

As we journey through life, grant us the grace to reflect Your compassion to those around us. May our actions and words be guided by the same loving kindness that You lavish upon us. Thank You, Father, for Your enduring love and the mercies that are new every morning.

In the name of Jesus, the embodiment of Your love, we pray. Amen.

Forgiveness for Foul mouth

Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a heavy heart, acknowledging the words that have escaped my lips, words that are not pleasing to You. I confess that at times, my speech has been tainted with foulness, reflecting a heart not aligned with Your love and grace.

Lord, forgive me for the times when I have spoken harshly, for the words that have caused harm or offense to others. I recognize that my tongue has the power to build up or tear down, and I humbly ask for Your forgiveness for the times I have used it carelessly.

Please cleanse my heart and purify my speech, O God. Help me to guard my words, that they may reflect Your goodness, kindness, and love. Grant me wisdom and self-control, that I may speak words that edify and bring glory to Your name.

Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, that I may be transformed from the inside out, becoming more like Christ in every aspect of my life, including my speech. Teach me to use my words to encourage, uplift, and bless those around me.

I surrender my tongue to You, Lord. Let it be an instrument of righteousness, spreading Your truth and grace wherever I go. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, my Rock and my Redeemer.

In Jesus' name, I pray,

Amen.
