Day 13 - Compassion - Psalm 103:13

Day 13

Compassion

Psalm 103:13 (KJV): "Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him."

Abba Father, in the name of Jesus, as we bow before You, our hearts are stirred by the tender words of Psalm 103:13, "Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him."

Lord, Your compassion knows no bounds. Like a loving father who pities his children, You extend Your mercy and understanding to those who fear and reverence You. Your heart is moved with compassion toward us, and we find solace in Your loving gaze.

We thank You for Your boundless pity, which comforts and sustains us in moments of weakness. Your understanding surpasses our comprehension, and Your compassion is a balm for our wounded souls. May we continually be aware of Your unfailing love and tender care.

As we journey through life, grant us the grace to reflect Your compassion to those around us. May our actions and words be guided by the same loving kindness that You lavish upon us. Thank You, Father, for Your enduring love and the mercies that are new every morning.

In the name of Jesus, the embodiment of Your love, we pray. Amen.

Forgiveness for Foul mouth

Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a heavy heart, acknowledging the words that have escaped my lips, words that are not pleasing to You. I confess that at times, my speech has been tainted with foulness, reflecting a heart not aligned with Your love and grace.

Lord, forgive me for the times when I have spoken harshly, for the words that have caused harm or offense to others. I recognize that my tongue has the power to build up or tear down, and I humbly ask for Your forgiveness for the times I have used it carelessly.

Please cleanse my heart and purify my speech, O God. Help me to guard my words, that they may reflect Your goodness, kindness, and love. Grant me wisdom and self-control, that I may speak words that edify and bring glory to Your name.

Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, that I may be transformed from the inside out, becoming more like Christ in every aspect of my life, including my speech. Teach me to use my words to encourage, uplift, and bless those around me.

I surrender my tongue to You, Lord. Let it be an instrument of righteousness, spreading Your truth and grace wherever I go. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, my Rock and my Redeemer.

In Jesus' name, I pray,

Amen.

Day 12 - Patience - 2 Peter 3:9

Day 12

Patience

2 Peter 3:9 (KJV): "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

Abba Father, in the name of Jesus, in reverence, we approach Your throne, guided by the assurance found in 2 Peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

Lord, Your promises are true, and Your patience is beyond measure. In a world marked by haste, Your longsuffering stands as a testament to Your boundless love. You desire that none should perish, but that all would come to repentance and experience the gift of eternal life.

We thank You for Your patient love that waits for each wandering soul. Your desire is for reconciliation and redemption. Grant us the grace to align our hearts with Your will, that we may be ambassadors of Your patience and bear witness to Your saving love.
